WELCOME!

 

Welcome to the 2018-2019 academic year. I trust that everyone had a restful summer and is prepared for a new year of academic exploration. I am looking forward to all the things this year has to bring. This website will be used to keep you, as parents, up to date but as well have information accessible for the success our students. There is a link to the grade 7 science curriculum at the bottom of the page. Please feel free to contact me if any questions arise. There will be links to the weekly lessons under the links portion and will be updated week-to-week. 

 

TO DO/HOMEWORK:

 

Students will be required to complete any unfinished class work at home. It is expected that all homework will be completed on time. Student are encouraged to read on a nightly basis. Homework will be recorded in their agendas at the end of each class.

FAQS:

 

Q: Will marks be deducter if an assignment is late?

A: Yes, 5% will be deducted per day

 

Q: If absent on the day of a quiz/test, how will it be made up?

A: The student will be responsible for setting up a time and date to complete the evaluation.

 

Q: Will there be any field trips this year?

A: We have some plans in the works to get out of the classroom this year.

 

Q: How much homework will we have?

A: Students will be given adequate time to complete work in class. As long as the students take advatage of their class time, they should not have much homework at all.
